No Dad, I Won't Get Killed Crossing The Street

Besides having a healthy respect for a people who can drive 50 mph on congested city streets avoiding tourist buses and presumably the tourists themselves, many crosswalks have bright friendly letters painted right there on the street at the curb. Look Right or Look Left as the case may be. I do not remember if those were there when we were here in 1976 but they have come in handy this trip. If nothing else it stops little boys in their tracks who have been staring at their feet instead of the marvelous sites of the city. Still I remain ever vigilant mama bear.
